BUT IS IT REALLY?


During such a huge crisis it's hard to see that some might want to exploit the vulnerable at a time like this. Is it true that doctors were getting paid to write Covid - 19 as a diagnosis for patients that were turning up in hospitals for many things besides for Covid? A doctor. Someone who took an oath to do no harm. Now I understand it was a rough time, there was a lot of unknown in the beginning. Yet, time went on and people starting realizing it just doesn't make sense. The usual diagnosis's hospitals were giving year in and year out weren't happening, whether it was a heart attack, the flu or an accident. Patients weren't being treated for the issues they really had. Many individuals started questioning, is this coming from the top? I would like to think if we outnumber those that try to fool us and stand up for what's right, we will be heard and change will be seen. Posting this photomontage in big hospitals and at the work place of big politicians like Fauci could help spread the message. This way they see it matters to us and responsibility should be taken.

  AND WE'RE LIVE This last assignment was a little tricky for me. At first I didn't think much of building a website, but after the past couple week of analyzing so many different website, an efficient and simple website isn't that simple. What was important for me was that my website was easy to navigate. It shouldn't be some complicated jigsaw puzzle. I created just a few clear tabs with a simple design.  Fantasy Avatar 2.0 This was a very interesting project. Manipulating pictures in a way where the final image doesn't look like it's been edited has been a skill I always wanted to learn, which is why I chose to turn myself into an Avatar. There were quite a few tools that I used that helped me transform my image to an Avatar. There's the Liquify Tool which I used to change the shape of the nose. I also used the Brush Tool to change the skin color to blue. Cancer Awareness      I wanted to bring more awareness to Cancer and how many people are affected. I spoke with a friend who has vast experience in this area about the poster and what would be important to portray. She mentioned that o ne very challenging result of cancer treatment is hair loss. Whether it's fashioning a bandana, wearing a wig, sporting a styled haircut, or going bald, these individuals have to find coping mechanisms for their hair loss during this trying time.      I originally made the shirts colorful, but I decided to black it out, allowing the emphasis to be the hair (or lack of) on their head. This way the reader can visually see the different ways many individuals with cancer need to cope during this trying time. Also, the play on word used with ‘hair’ catches the readers’ attention as something out of place while drawing attention to the characters’ heads.
